LATEST | Analyst makes a bold claim regarding the Canucks
Nearing the halfway point of the NHL season, the Vancouver Canucks find themselves atop the Pacific Division, and they're turning heads around the league.
TSN 1200's John Rodenburg was joined by Darren Dreger on Wednesday morning following the Canucks 6-3 victory over the Sens.
The NHL insider said teams are on notice when the Canucks are coming to town.
The Vancouver Canucks are a wagon right now across the National Hockey League,
Dreger said.
Which has legitimized the reality that they're a Stanley Cup contender.
Dreger says the Canucks have caught everyone by surprise, but nobody is taking them lightly anymore.
He suggested that the Sens should look at the Canucks as an example of why they should get their next long-term coach in place before season's end, with Tocchet finishing off the 22-23 season behind the Canucks bench.
The word is out on the Canucks: they're contenders.
