It's already evident that the Canucks will not be buyers by this year's deadline and both Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin made it clear that the team was looking to improve in any possible way.

There's been lots of conversations surrounding the team's needs to make a steep playoff run and open their window of contention and an analyst dropped a massive piece of information as to what Allvin may be targeting from now to the deadline.

Trade chatter is evidently going to pick up massively and according to the information that was leaked, the Canucks have identified their two biggest priorities as they are aiming to get bigger and faster:

�'They're a team that recognizes that they're pretty good. They would like to get bigger and faster if they can. I'm going to be keeping a close eye on Patrik Allvin and Canucks until the trade deadline.''

Everybody expects the Canucks to be fairly active from now to the trade deadline. The most intriguing thing to see, will be who they decide to move out. Will they finally find a way to trade Tyler Myers? Will Nils Aman be sacrificed for the team's short-term success? Will they move on from a player in Abbotsford?
