LATEST | Bombshell rumor drops: Elias Pettersson would've already chosen his next destination
Canucks superstar forward Elias Pettersson has been one of the NHL's best players the past two seasons, with 102 points in 2022-2023 and 43 in 35 games this season, good for 10th in the NHL.
However, despite the Canucks' strong start to the season, the RFA forward has been linked to another squad, courtesy of the Spittin' Chiclets Podcast:
Host Matt Murley suggests a rumour that Pettersson could be making his way to the Windy City as a restricted free agent this off-season. While the source of the rumour is unclear, time will tell whether this rumour has any validity and if Pettersson will indeed move on from Vancouver.
Murley also implicates Maple Leafs star William Nylander as another RFA with potential to move to another squad.
