The Vancouver Canucks are once again making headlines on social media for all the wrong reasons, facing some serious backlash from fans that have noticed the organizations extreme greed.

It has been a disappointing and ill-defining year for the Canucks in more ways than one as they have missed the playoffs, been involved in serious locker room drama and made countless poor decisions that have left them in a tight spot for the future.
Now, they are facing more backlash from their own fan base for being greedy in a recent social media post that exposes their true interests.

Vancouver Canucks fans shocked at the organizations latest attempts at taking money from their fans

The recent controversy comes from fans being upset that the organization is now selling practice and game used socks on their storefront.
It is normal practice to be able to buy game worn jersey's that go for a pretty penny, but the fact they are trying to make $10-$15 off sweaty practice socks is just next level greed, and we are not the only one's who think so.
These type of actions are not a new phenomenon for the Canucks organization.
"The Gr8 Ovechkin auction is now LIVE!

Place your bids to own a piece of the #Gr8ness." the Canucks said.

This is embarrassing @fr_aquilini stop trying to make a dollar at every turn" @S_Desai said.

"Shameless, spineless money grab but what else would we expect from Francesco Aquilini." @ae_allchin said.
The anger comes from the lack of transparency the organization has with their fans through out the season, but will gladly get on top of an opportunity to sell another players and teams jersey on their store to try and make a quick buck, or even sell valueless used socks.
It makes owner Francesco Aquilini and the entire Canucks organization look fairly greedy and weak.

Do you think this is a pathetic move by Francesco Aquilini and the Vancouver Canucks?
