LATEST | Canucks forward Teddy Blueger puts himself into elite company
Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin went out during the summer and made plenty of signings to help the team's depth on forward and the blueline and among the players he brought in was 2023 Stanley Cup champion Teddy Blueger.
Recently, Teddy Blueger put himself into some pretty elite company after surpassing the 100 point mark in his National Hockey League career.
In doing so, Blueger became only the fifth Latvian in National Hockey League history to reach 100 points, joining Sandis Ozolinsh (564 points), Sergei Zholtok (258 points), Zemgus Girgensons (175 points) and Karlis Skrastins (105 points).
"Tedors Blueger has just 3 goals this season, but they're all beauties.
The #Canucks forward also recently became just the 5th Latvian to score 100 career #NHL points!"
Blueger, 29, has appeared in 18 games so far this season for the Canucks where he's recorded seven points (three goals, four assists), seven penalty minutes and is a plus-three.
From everyone here at Canucks Daily, congratulations to Teddy Blueger on reaching an incredible achievement, which will certainly inspire many young hockey players in Latvia!
