A huge reason for the team's 4-2-0 start to the 2023-24 season is the strong play of forward Brock Boeser, and on Wednesday, the Canucks highlighted the 26-year-old's production.
Boeser started the season with a four-goal performance against the Edmonton Oilers. He followed that up with four points in the team's next five games, with October 17th against the Philadelphia Flyers being the only night he didn't record any issues.
So far, Boeser has eight points (six goals, two assists) in the Canucks' first six games and is on pace to smash his career-high of 56 points he set during the 2018-19 season.
SupposeSuppose Boeser can sustain this production level, which will be incredibly tough, combined with the play of other top players, including Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes and Thatcher Demko. In that case. In that case, the Canucks will be in a good position in the Western Conference playoff picture later in the season.
After a tough couple of seasons on and off the ice, it's nice to see that Brock Boeser is finding success, and it'll certainly be interesting to see how he does throughout the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.
Boeser and the Canucks will be back in action on Friday against St. Louis at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET before facing the New York Rangers 24 hours later on Saturday night.
