Canucks prospect Arshdeep Bains is having a great season with AHL Abbotsford, and the point-per-game forward's strong play has put him on the map. Bains was named as the Abbotsford Canucks' representative at the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic based on voting from other coaches in the division. It will be his first All-Star appearance in his second professional season with Abbotsford.

Abbotsford GM Ryan Johnson said while Bains has been impressive this year, the best is yet to come. He has put in a lot of work to get to this point, and we are confident that this is just the beginning for him. Bains' 21 assists are good for 10th in the entire league, and his 29 points in 29 games lead the Canucks. The AHL All-Star game will be held in San Jose on February 4-5.
