LATEST | Former NHLer makes an interesting comment on the Hughes' brothers
Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes, along with his brothers, Jack and Luke, who play for the New Jersey Devils, are drawing plenty of praise from former NHLer Sean Avery.
While on his podcast, Avery called the three Hughes brothers 'wagons' and 'special' when discussing their play so far in the 2023-24 season.
"There's three brothers in the NHL right now that go by the last name Hughes. These kids, specimens, top notch DNA. Who are their fucking parents?.
The kid in Vancouver is a wagon. Wow. The two in Jersey. Fucking wagons. We need to start breeding the Hughes boys like they're fucking Secretariat. These Hughes kids are special." Avery said on his podcast.
The Hughes brothers have done a pretty good job, production wise, through one-quarter of the National Hockey League's season thus far. Quinn, for his part, has 33 points in 22 games, while Jack has 23 points in 14 games and Luke has 12 points in 19 games.
