The All-Star break is over and the Vancouver Canucks return to action tonight as they take on the Carolina Hurricanes to kick off a five-game road trip.

It'll be a special night for the Canucks as it's the debut of recently acquired forward Elias Lindholm, who they added in a trade with the Calgary Flames last week for a package involving Andrei Kuzmenko, Hunter Brzustewicz and a 2024 first-round pick.

Lindholm had the opportunity to meet up with his new teammates during the All-Star Weekend in Toronto and on Tuesday, while meeting with the media, J.T. Miller shared his excitement with the addition of the 29-year-old Swede.

"We had some really good camaraderie the last couple days. The banter has been awesome. Good couple practices so I think we're ready to get back to the real thing."

While we have to wait for warmups before anything is set, on Monday, Lindholm was skating on the second line as winger with Elias Pettersson at center and Ilya Mikheyev on the left side.

Tonight's puck drop between the Vancouver Canucks and Carolina Hurricanes is set for 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET and can be viewed on Sportsnet Pacific.
