LATEST | NHL makes important announcement regarding the All-Star Weekend

It was announced earlier during the year that the NHL would be moving its All-Star Festivities, but after receiving an important number of complaints on the events and the atrocious viewings. The NHL chose to make a change to its format.
NHL MAKES AN ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW FORMAT FOR THE ALL-STAR GAME
After atrocious reviews and the lowest viewings they had in years for these events, the NHL chose to go back to their former format. Four team captains will be named and accompanied by celebrity captains, they will have to select their teams. Further in their announcement, the league also announced the composure of the three All-Star days set to take place at the Maple Leafs' Scotiabank Arena:
The 2024 NHL� All-Star Weekend, hosted by the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena, will be expanded to a three-day event, the National Hockey League� announced today. In addition to the NHL All-Star Skills� presented by DraftKings Sportsbook on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 and the Rogers NHL� All-Star Game on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, the All-Star Weekend celebration will feature «NHL All-Star Thursday» on Feb. 1, 2024.
The Draft will be kicking things off on Thursday Feb. 1st of 2024.
