LATEST | Newly signed Carson Soucy gives his first post-practice interview as a Canuck
Patrik Allvin and the Canucks struck big when they inked the 6'5'' defenseman out of Seattle, Carson Soucy. The defenseman had his first opportunity to skate with his new team, and he was ecstatic to get to work and have the opportunity to work alongside NHL legends like Adam Foote and Sergei Gonchar.
Front the words he divulge, Soucy doesn't know yet what his role will be on the line-up, whether he plays on Hronek's left or on Hughes' right has note yet been determined. One thing is sure however, he'll be a great addition to the team's penalty kill and hopefully helps within the team's defensive structure:
"Play wherever I fit in the lineup to help this team. Big thing is to have a good camp and feeling good at the start of the season."
Soucy and his family have settled in Vancouver already. The Viking, AB native had been playing in Seattle for the last two seasons before he inked a $9M deal to spend the next 3 years of his life in Vancouver. Are you excited to see what he brings to the table?
