LATEST | P.K. Subban has high praise for Canucks forward Elias Pettersson
While there have been a lot of questions recently about whether Canucks management and Elias Pettersson's camp are both committed long-term, the 24-year-old is focusing on repeating what he did last season and hopefully put up another 100+-point season.
Pettersson got off to a hot start to the 2023-24 season, recording a goal and three assists in their opening game on Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers.
His strong start has caught the eye of former NHL defenceman and current ESPN analyst P.K. Subban. Subban called Pettersson an 'MVP tyle talent' and wants to see him lead the Canucks back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
"Elias PetterssHIM ! 👀
So excited to watch Elias this season. This guy is nasty, MVP type talent, shot, skill & IQ. Would love to see him lead Vancouver back to the playoffs.." Subban said in a post on X.
Fans of the Vancouver Canucks and hockey fans in general are excited to see what Elias Pettersson will do this season as he tries to prove that he's one of the best players in the entire league. After a four-point performance, it'll be interesting to see what he has up his sleeve for tomorrow's game in Edmonton.
