The Canucks were in Abbotsford on Wednesday when they held a tight meeting with the Seattle Kraken. The Canucks showcased a lineup filled with presumed AHLers, while the Kraken had a close-to-opening roster. The game was tightly disputed, but the Kraken ultimately had the upper hand in the 2-1 win.

AN INJURY WENT UNNOTICED?

Rick Tocchet issued his lineup earlier today ahead of tonight's game against the Flames, and the fact that Guillaume Brisebois wasn't featured on the lineup caused quite a reaction. The Quebecor played a fine match alongside Cole McWard, but Rick Tocchet updated on the 26-year-old.

In his pre-game meeting with the media, the Canucks pilot revealed that Brisebois had been buzzed from a hit on Wednesday's game and that his recovery status had yet to be determined:

Tocchet was penalized in the game's last moment after he claimed that Brandon Tanev had assaulted a player in the defensive zone. Could it be it? Nevertheless, this couldn't be coming at a worse time for the Brisebois, as he's one of the nine defensemen in Vancouver.

Quinn Hughes, Filip Hronek, Ian Cole, Carson Soucy and Tyler Myers will be in Vancouver. However, two of them must be sent down to Abbotsford from Christian Wolanin, Cole McWard, Noah Juulsen, and Guillaume Brisebois.
