LATEST | Rick Tocchet post game interview: Coach ecstatic with his netminder's performance
The Oilers were in town for their second Rogers' Arena visit and their third tilt against the Canucks. Tocchet and his man had already won the two first meetings and the Oilers were eager to come out ahead.
A SLOW START: DEMKO SHUTS THE DOOR
The Oilers fired 20 shots on Demko's net in the first period alone and the Canucks still managed to score three to come out ahead after the first 20.
«They came out firing and Demko was all-world for us. In about 15 minutes we were under siege, Demmer does Demmer things. He was incredible. Then we found our game.»
The Canucks held tight and finally had the best of the Oilers, they now have a 9-2-1 record to show for it. At this point, they have yet to lose in regulations while playing in Vancouver.
