BREAKING | Canuck Draft Pick suspended indefinitely: Police getting involved
A former Canuck prospect is suspended from the OHL indefinitely amid an investigation by Durham Police.
Connor Lockhart, currently playing for the Oshawa Generals, was a Vancouver 6th round pick in 2021 - his rights expired in the offseason.
Lockhart was a promising prospect, picked 3rd overall in the 2019 OHL draft, and has had solid offensive numbers the past two seasons.
Despite being one of the Generals' leading scorers, he was scratched for the last 4 games.
The Generals did not comment, but the OHL said Lockhart was already suspended following a "League and team Code of Conduct matter."
No details of the investigation have been made public at this time.
