Canucks Jet Woo helped off the ice

Injuries are part of the game, but seeing a player going down in pain always hurts regardless. The Abbotsford Canucks were playing the Coachella Valley Firebirds, and a weird scene occurred, leading one of the Canucks defensive prospects to the dressing room.
As he was skating back, Woo collided with one of the Firebirds and went down awkwardly. Woo went down in pain and needed help getting back up.

It's an untimely injury for Woo. The 24-year-old defenceman and former Canucks' 2nd Round Draft Pick has been progressing nicely as of late, good enough to get recalls to the NHL. Coming from a rare breed of right-handed shot defenceman, Woo could be the next player to crack the NHL roster out of Abbotsford.
Through 62 AHL games this year, Woo managed a career-high 31 points. The Canucks have not yet followed up in his regard, we're hoping the injury isn't too big of a deal and that the d-man is back in no-time.
