The Vancouver Canucks have released their Skate jersey schedule for the 2024-25 season.

If you're a fan of the Vancouver Canucks' black Skate alternate jersey, you're in for a treat this season as the team has announced their schedule for the uniform on Wednesday.

The black skate uniforms will make their season debut on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins and will be worn a total of 18 times this season, 44% of Vancouver's home games. This means there's an increase of three games when compared to last season when the Canucks donned their beloved uniforms 15 times.

Here's the full Skate jersey schedule for the 2024-25 campaign:

- October 26th vs Pittsburgh Penguins
- October 28th vs Carolina Hurricanes
- October 30th vs New Jersey Devils
- November 9th vs Edmonton Oilers
- December 6th vs Columbus Blue Jackets
- December 8th vs Tampa Bay Lightning
- December 10th vs St. Louis Blues
- December 21st vs Ottawa Senators
- December 23rd vs San Jose Sharks
- December 28th vs Seattle Kraken
- January 18th vs Edmonton Oilers
- January 21st vs Buffalo Sabres
- January 25th vs Washington Capitals
- March 5th vs Anaheim Ducks
- March 7th vs Minnesota Wild
- March 9th vs Dallas Stars
- April 5th vs Anaheim Ducks
- April 6th vs Vegas Golden Knights

Usually, teams around the National Hockey League wear their alternate uniforms ten to 15 times a season, so to see the Canucks go beyond that to 18 games is encouraging news for those fans who are wanting them to bring them back as permanent home and away jerseys in the coming years.

The Black skate uniform was first worn back in 1985 to 1997, with some changes over the years. The Canucks then brought it back in 2016 for one night and then again in 2019-20 for their 50th anniversary. In January 2023, returned as their official alternate, with a modernized take on the logo and some changes to the striping compared to the other Adidas version they wore during their 50th anniversary campaign.

We'll have to wait and see what the Vancouver Canucks have planned in the coming years for the Skate logo and jerseys, but a good chunk of the fan base is hoping that one day they'll return as home and away uniforms.
