The Canucks have won their first two pre-season matches and they're now on their way to Seattle, where they'll meet with the Kraken a second time this week.

The Canucks just released their roster and they'll have some of their top players on the road. Elias Pettersson, Jake Debrusk, Brock Boeser and Filip Hronek will lead the way as the newly signed Kevin Lankinen will be making his Canucks debut.

The Kraken on their end will have veterans Jayden Schwartz, Chandler Stephenson, Oliver Bjorkstrand and the top prospect Shane Wright.

Miller once again watching from the sidelines: Something wrong?

Concern has risen over the fact that the Canucks' star forward J.T. Miller has yet to participate in a pre-season game. The number 9 has been practicing in full capacity with the team, but he's been kept off the ice. The Canucks still have four more pre-season games on their schedule and were definitely hoping to see Miller out there soon.

Jeff Paterson was on Sekeres and Price to adress the situation, and according to the analyst it's nothing to worry about. While it's unusual for teams to not use everyone through their first three pre-season games, the analyst was confident that there was nothing wrong with Miller.

The Canucks will already be starting their season with a big piece on the sidelines in Thatcher Demko. If they were to not have JT Miller as well, their season could take an unwanted direction rather quickly.

The author of 102 points in 2023-2024 will need to pick where he left off since the Canucks aren't looking to slow their pace. Under Rick Tocchet's guidance, the Canucks bloomed and were expecting them to build off of that.
