During a recent interview with Max Miller of Sharks Hockey Digest, Macklin Celebrini revealed that his brother Aiden doesn't intend on signing with the Vancouver Canucks this off-season and will be returning to Boston University for the 2025-26 campaign.
"Macklin told SHD that Aiden doesn't intend to sign with Vancouver during the 2025 offseason as he will stay in school." Max Miller said.
Celebrini also gave a mini scouting report on his brother Aiden, saying that he's developing quite well into a defensive defenseman and that it would be "really cool" to see him on a pairing with
Quinn Hughes in the future.
"He's developed really well. He's a defensive defenseman, lockdown, and he's good at what he does," Macklin Celebrini said about his brother.
In 26 games so far this season, the Vancouver native has registered six points (one goal, five assists), 12 penalty minutes and is a plus-eight.
Celebrini, Tom Willander and Boston University will be back in action today at 1 pm PT as they take on UConn in the semi-finals of the 2025 Hockey East Men's Tournament.
