Former Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller speaks out to to the media at the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament to show how lucky he is to be a member of the New York Rangers after the issues he faced in Vancouver.

It Has not been an easy season for the J.T. Miller with all the publicity he has been getting since the news became public about the rift between him and former teammate Elias Pettersson.
After speaking to the media today about how it will be facing off against his former "rival", he also spoke about how lucky he is to be a member of the New York Rangers.

J.T. Miller opens up about the trade that sent him from the Vancouver Canucks to the New York Rangers

When he was initially traded to the Rangers for Filip Chytil, prospect Victor Mancini and a 1st-round draft pick, the 31-year-old star forward opened up to why he waived his no trade clause.
When speaking to the media today, he dove deeper into all the reasons that get him excited and motivated to be the best he can be with New York.
"Tons of friends around the area and the welcoming I got coming back was astounding," Miller said. "Just so much support from my family and I just feel crazy lucky everything worked out the way it did."

Miller has 2 goals and 2 assists in five games with the Rangers after achieving 9 goals and 26 assists for 35 points in 40 games with the Canucks.
It is clear that the Big Apple is the best fit for Miller moving forward, and not much was going to sway his decision to stay in Vancouver.
