The 2024-25 season is right around the corner and Steven Ellis of Daily Faceoff has shared his rankings of each team's prospect pools heading into the new campaign.
San Jose, Montreal, Anaheim, Columbus and Detroit make up the top-five on their list, while Tampa Bay (32), Boston (31), Ottawa (30), Edmonton (29) and Vegas (28), are the bottom-five teams on Daily Faceoff's ranking.
The Vancouver Canucks come in at 20th on Daily Faceoff's ranking, a jump of two spots when compared to 2023. Ellis believes that the Canucks have top-quality options at every position in their prospect pool, but do lack at center depth.
This month, Ellis shared his top-ten prospects in the Vancouver Canucks' system and there isn't too much of a surprise as to who's on their list.
The Canucks' top-ten prospects according to Daily Faceoff are: Jonathan Lekkerimaki (1), Tom Willander (2), Arturs Silovs (3), Elias Pettersson (4), Aatu Raty (5), Arshdeep Bains (6), Sawyer Mynio (7), Kirill Kudryavtsev (8), Anthony Romani (9), Melvin Fernstrom (10).
