Back in the spring, it was announced that Monday Night Hockey broadcasts in Canada on Sportsnet will be shifting to Amazon Prime for the final two years of the league's deal with Rogers.
For fans, this means they'd need to subscribe to Amazon Prime, which costs $9.99 Canadian a month, which might not seem like a lot, but if your favourite team plays one Monday night game in November, another in January and then March, you'll need to fork over $29.97 just to watch three games.
When it comes to Vancouver, they're going to be featured on Amazon's Monday night broadcasts four times this season and according to Rob Williams of Daily Hive, it marks the first time since 2014 that a Canucks game won't be shown on Sportsnet in Canada.
Those four Vancouver Canucks broadcasts this season on Amazon Prime are as follows:
- December 23rd vs San Jose Sharks.
- January 3rd @ Montreal Canadiens.
- January 27th @ St. Louis Blues.
- March 24th @ New Jersey Devils.
The remaining 78 games on the Canucks' schedule this season can be viewed on Sportsnet in the Vancouver region along with nationally for select contests on Wednesday and as always, on Saturday nights for Hockey Night in Canada.
