LATEST | Canucks announce a first roster move
We're minutes away from the deadline, and Patrik Allvin just made the announcement he needed to make his next move.
Following a three games stint in Vancouver in which he did quite well, Podkolzin has been send down to Abbotsford:
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Vasily Podkolzin has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL). With that move, Allvin frees up a roster spot and over $1M in cap space.
Will he be announcing a trade next? Will he be announcing Phil Kessel's signing? Stay tuned.
