LATEST | Elias Lindholm absent from practice: Rick Tocchet updates on his health
Elias Lindholm was absent from the Canucks practice on Friday morning, leaving fans wondering if he might be missing some time with a nagging injury.
Head Coach Rick Tocchet poured cool water on any speculation however, saying it's just a maintenance day for a player who should get lots of ice time in his first matchup against his former team.
Tocchet did hint earlier that Lindholm was playing through something. Hopefully this is him dealing with his situation so he's back at 100%.
That answer from Tocchet really only opens up more questions, but as of now he's not planning on making a habit out of giving days off to Lindholm or any of his mainstays in order to rest up for playoffs.
With Lindholm expected to suit up, a member of Friday morning's fourth line will likely be the healthy scratch on Saturday.
