The Canucks' upper management is in their busiest period of the year. Contract talks, roster management and trade negotiations, they are only trying to improve their team to increase their chances at a Stanley Cup.

The Canucks have been heavily connected to some of the most notorious names on the board, from Jake Guentzel, to Tyler Toffoli, to Pavel Buchnevich or even Jason Zucker. Trades are waiting to happen and the Canucks have been making administrative moves suggesting so.

Amidst all the trade rumors, the Abbotsford Canucks had their starting netminder Arturs Silovs in the press box and for no apparent injury reasons it appears:

Looks like Nikita Tolopilo will get the start again tonight for the Abbotsford #Canucks(Arturs Silovs is not in the lineup at all).

Since February 1st:

Nikita Tolopilo7 starts, 5-2-0, .923% save percentage.

Arturs Silovs6 starts, 1-4-1, .917% save percentage.

Odd that Sawchenko is dressed for the first time this season just before the deadline. Silovs played last game and I did not hear about any injury he may have suffered

Tyler Toffoli has officially been placed on the trade block and the Devils have made it clear they had been looking to add a goaltender.

Ever since Silovs played the hero at the latest World Championships, his stock has heavily gone up. Could the Devils be after Silovs? They mentionned they'd be looking at a prospect plus a pick.
