MAJOR | It's confirmed for the former Canuck Tyler Toffoli: The price has been set
The market is heating up, many teams are looking for wingers, and some of the league's best are still on the board. Jake Guentzel, Pavel Buchnevich and Tyler Toffoli have not been traded as of right now.
The Devils' GM has been reticent to say whether or not he'd be a seller or a buyer by the deadline, but the way things have gone for them this week, the latest reports have indeed confirmed that they'd be selling. Tyler Toffoli recently went from the Flames to the Devils and will likely be on the move again. His ability to score, leadership, and experience make Toffoli a very intriguing addition for any contender.
The report that came from Darren Dreger not only confirmed Toffoli's trade availability but it also indicated his cost of acquisition, and it may be right up the Canucks' alley:
Amid all the action today, Tyler To:ffoli is in play. The Devils are open to return through multiple picks or a pick and a prospect.
Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin would love to add forwards to their group in a perfect world. Which means chasing Guentzel doesn't mean the Canucks won't be going after Toffoli too.
This information may or may not be relevant. But Toffoli is represented by the same agent as Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson, who signed a massive extension days ago.
