After a recent slump, the Vancouver Canucks have bounced back, winning the first two games of their three-game road trip against the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings.

During the Canucks' 2-1 overtime win over the Kings on Tuesday night, captain Quinn Hughes was in the thick of things, picking up a pair of assists. In doing so, Hughes is now in some pretty elite company in National Hockey League history.

"Quinn Hughes assisted on a @Canucks goal for the 60th time this season and achieved a rare NHL feat in the process.

Quinn Hughes became the fourth blueliner in NHL history with three straight 60-assist seasons, joining Paul Coffey (5x & 3x), Bobby Orr (6x) and Ray Bourque (5x)."

The 24-year-old is well on his way to setting a new career-high in points this season after a strong campaign thus far. In 64 games, Hughes has 73 points (12 goals, 61 assists), 28 penalty minutes and is a plus-23.

Hughes and the Canucks will look to keep things rolling and win their third straight on Thursday night as they take on the Golden Knights in Vegas. Puck drop for that contest is set for 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet Pacific.
