Some troubling news has suddenly come out of Vancouver Canucks practice today ahead of their matchup with the Anaheim Ducks as forward Nils Aman had to leave early with a scary injury.
Over the course of an 82 game NHL season, injuries, illnesses and absences are a normal part of hockey that all clubs deal with, but it is clear that the Vancouver Canucks have been on the worser end when it comes to these obstacles.
It was even reported today, April 4th that 2 key players in
Tyler Myers and
Elias Pettersson were absent from practice with undisclosed injuries.

Amid their injury riddled season, another name was added to that list today.
Canucks reporter Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reported that a scary scene emerged today as forward Nils Aman was forced to leave practice early after a suffering an troubling and undisclosed injury.

While the 25-year-old is still being evaluated, with Aman and Elias Pettersson, so both their status's for Saturday's game against Anaheim remains unclear.
If Aman is unfit to play, then the Canucks will to recall another forward from the Abbottsford Canucks as they are now down to just 11 healthy forwards and six healthy blueliners.
In 19 appearances in the NHL this season, he only has 1 goal and 5 assists and 6 points.
With just a few games remaining, the Canucks are basically eliminated from any chance at making the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they will use this time off to get healthy and return even stronger for the 2025-2026 season.
