The off-ice issues surrounding the Vancouver Canucks are getting louder and louder every single day, and the boys in blue will try to silence it with a win tonight against the Kraken.
In the first game of the 2025, the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Kraken kicked off the new year with a bang as the Kraken marked off a 4-1 comeback win in overtime, handing Vancouver one of their worst collapse losses in recent memory.
With two consecutive losses, the Canucks are now playing their 2nd game in their 8-game road trip and a lot more than bragging rights hangs in the balance.
Currently with their record, they are outsiders looking in on the playoffs and head coach Rick Tocchet is trusting Thatcher Demko to get it done in net, also giving him another crack at getting even with Seattle.

With the injuries to Captain Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson, Rick Tocchet's hands are basically tied up in terms of making big changes with his lineup and roster.
Although there is some inklings that 27-year-old defenseman Guillaume Brisebois
may get the call to slide onto the bottom defensive paining tonight, as it stands from what was seen at practice today, there are no changes being made to the lineup for their rematch against the Seattle Kraken.
Puck drop is at 7:00 PM in Seattle.
