Vancouver Canucks to Debut Brand New Logo Tonight vs the Anaheim Ducks

The Vancouver Canucks are set to host their First Nations Night on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks and have released some new merchandise to mark the occasion.

A little less than two weeks ago, the Vancouver Canucks released a brand-new logo which was designed by Coast Salish artist, Cole Sparrow-Crawford for First Nations Night at Rogers Arena and now we're getting our first glimpse at some of the merchandise that logo will be featured on.
"This Community Night will be a celebration of First Nations culture and traditions, featuring experiences and guests to pay homage to Indigenous cultures." the Canucks said.

In a post on social media on Wednesday morning, the Vancouver Canucks released merchandise featuring the logo designed by Cole Sparrow-Crawford including hats, t-shirts, sweaters, pucks, mini sticks and a practice jersey, which only a limited number were made and will cost you $750 CAD.
"It's really powerful to see Coast Salish design out in the world... It's an honour to be able to connect that to the Canucks, too." Cole Sparrow-Crawford said in a video.
This will be Vancouver's seventh annual First Nations Night and among the activities fans can participate in include a market on the concourse in Rogers Arena featuring First Nations businesses, along with a performance by Bitterly Devine, a Vancouver based rock band who's roots trace back to the Squamish Nation.
"We are deeply proud to dedicate this special night to honouring the communities whose heritage and resilience built the land we now play on," said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. "This evening offers an opportunity to amplify First Nations voices, celebrate their rich cultures and traditions, and reaffirm our commitment to growing together while fostering strong relationships with these communities."

Puck drop for Wednesday's First Nations Night against the Anaheim Ducks is set for 7:30 pm PT and can be watched on Sportsnet Pacific in the Vancouver area.
