Today, Patrik Allvin announced that they had given Guillaume Brisebois a 2-year extension starting on July 1st, 2023. Brisebois has a two-way deal for the upcoming season, but for the second year of his deal, it will shift into a one-way deal.
In the full press release, Allvin stated he was happy to bring him back for a couple more years and praised the development Jeremy Colliton had been providing with the team's prospects. Allvin expects Brisebois to make a strong push for a roster spot when starting camp kicks in next year.
The Longueuil, QC native managed an assist through 9 games in the NHL this season. Brisebois was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the third round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
