BREAKING: Ovechkin could be prohibited from travelling to Canada
The war between Ukraine and Russia has been all over the news for the bigger part of 2022 and it may start making it's way into our the hockey world.
Alex Ovechkin's Instagram page has been causing many discussions since it contains a picture of himself promoting Russia Prime Minister Putin.
Ovechkin never stated to the media that he was not approving Russia's behavior regarding the current situation. He has not publicly supported the Russian's cause either, but the Ukrainian Canadian Congress still asked that the Canadian Government refused Ovechkin's permission to travel over the Canadian border.
Should political beliefs have a stand in the game? Ovechkin does have an Instagram post with Putin, does it really means he supports his cause or even his actions?
