Bettman gives update on Hockey Canada scandal
It's been over 6 months since the NHL started investigating the Hockey Canada scandal and they're still not ready to comment the situation.
Today, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced that the NHL is still undergoing investigation and there's still work to do. For such a complicated matter, it's definitely understandable.
The true issue on the case is that Gary Bettman, is not willing to disclose the report after the investigation:
''Bettman was noncommittal about publishing the findings of their investigation.''
So the NHL conducts its own investigation, but are not willing to share the results coming out of it? They want to find out who was involved but in the end want to protect them?
The way they dealt most recently with the cases of Logan Mailloux and Mitch Miller was quite brutal, it would be quite contradictory to not do the same with the players involved in this case.
It certainly seems like the NHL want to deal with this internally, but is it the right way?
