During the past couple of years, the 32 teams in the NHL and most of the hockey world has been keeping a eye on a teenage hockey player named Connor Bedard. Despite NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman claiming nobody tanks, we know better.

Because teams like the Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Arizona Coyotes and others have been tanking to better their odds at the NHL's Draft Lottery.

The prize in lottery would be franchise changing, drafting the 17-year-old hockey phenom. The teenage super star has been killing it for the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League, as well Bedard led Canada to back-to-back gold medals at the World Junior Hockey Championships smashing records.

However, many of you might not have known Bedard has a cousin, and it appears he's pretty good at hockey himself. His name is Gavin McKenna and scouts are calling him another generational talent.

McKenna is already shattering minor hockey League records including some of his Cousin's.

Top prospect to watch: Gavin Mckenna

Stats, at the same age, in the CSSHL:

Bedard - 84pts in 36 games
McKenna - 73pts in 25 games
Savoie - 71pts in 31 games

- Mitch Giguère

Here's a some video footage of McKenna in action for you to check out:

McKenna is just 15 years old, 5'11 and 165 pounds so he'll definitely need to bulk up to over the next few years to be big enough to play in the NHL, but scouts already have McKenna projected to be the 1st overall pick in the 2026 NHL draft.

Meaning if the Canucks can't tank enough for Bedard, if we're still retooling we can tank again in three years.
