DEAL ALERT | Canucks have finally inked their top prospect
It has officially been announced, Patrik Allvin released a statement confirming the contract between Aidan McDonough and the Canucks who drafted him in the 7th Round of the 2019 Draft.
McDonough and the Canucks came to an agreement on a two-year entry-level contract with a $925K AAV.
Allvin commented on the signing:
« Aidan has continued to improve his game each year since being drafted and we are very pleased to have agreed to terms with him today. He has steadily grown into a leadership role with Northeastern throughout his time there and our development team is looking forward to working with him as he starts his pro hockey career."
McDonough produced 38 points in 34 games this year in the NCAA. He earned the Three-Star-Award, given to the player with the most points three stars points earned in the Hockey East division.
There are no confirmation as to whether or not he'll be in Vancouver or Abbotsford, we'll be waiting on an update.
