Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin is expected to be fairly busy, not just heading into the the trade deadline, but the off-season as well. Trying to make a retool out of the Canucks, who believe they are still a playoff team with plenty of young talent.

The Canucks have already moved captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders and Tuesday made defenceman Luke Schenn a healthy scratch for trade purposes, but the Canucks likely aren't finished with just trading Schenn, there's numerous Canucks being rumored for trades, one of them being netminder Thatcher Demko.

Demko's had a tough season with injuries, statistic-wise as well. Although he denied them, there's been plenty of rumors that Demko isn't happy in Vancouver. There's also been plenty of report suggesting the management group had been listening on offers.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman discussed the netminder's future on his most recent 32 Thoughts Podcast and revealed that the Los Angeles Kings are surely looking to acquire Demko, but he believes that this is more likely to take place in the off-season.

This could be a interesting move as Demko was projected to be the Canucks franchise goaltender, but with the team's change in direction, it would make sense that the Canucks move on from on of their most valuable assets.
