HOT: Canucks reached out to extend one of their defencemen
Ethan Bear has been great since he was acquired with Lane Pederson earlier this season.
His contract comes to an end this year and the restricted free agent will be available to ink a new deal as soon as January 1st. Rick Dhaliwal was on 'Sekeres and Price' and made statements that shows positivity for his future in Vancouver.
From the information that was revealed from his agent, Vancouver stands atop of his list. On the other side of things, Canucks management is really pleased with his play so far as his responsibilities on the ice have only been increasing. Since his arrival, he's offered the defensive group more stability and he's made a huge difference on the Penalty Kill.
The Canucks have already reached out to Bear's party, we know that he and his partner are expecting a baby, we hope that they can settle his family in Vancouver for a long time.
