The Vancouver Canucks may have a few openings on their roster to start the 2023-24 season and it will be certainly interesting to see if any of those on Abbotsford's roster will make the jump to the NHL full-time next season.

That exact question was asked on the 'Sekeres and Price' Twitter account on Thursday and Blake Price gave an answer that many might not have expected to hear.

"I think Rathbone is in the NHL.... But I'm going Sasson. Based on last night and the possibility of bottom six openings.." Price said.

22-year-old Max Sasson, who's already made a pretty big impact with Abbotsford in his short time with them, is Price's pick to make the Canucks' opening night roster. He signed his entry-level contract with Vancouver in March, which begins next season, after spending two years at Western Michigan University, where he put up 64 points in 75 games.

Since joining Abbotsford, the Birmingham (Michigan) native has shown what it takes to compete at the next level and given his recent performance in the Calder Cup Playoffs, Price may have a point when saying he could make the Canucks' roster right out of training camp. But obviously, it's dependent on what moves Patrik Allvin makes this summer and how Sasson performs during training camp in September.
