The Columbus Blue Jackets announced sad news today about their goaltender Elvis Merzlikins.
According to "The Fourth Period's" Hockey Insider David Pagnotta:
Merzlikins has left the Columbus Blue Jackets to return to his home country of Latvia to be with his family and his grandmother who is seriously ill. .
Pagnotta also shared the Blue Jackets have added goaltender Daniil Tarasov to the roster on a emergency recall from @Monster Hockey
