LATEST | Ethan Bear to sign with the Washington Capitals: Their offer has been leaked
Former Canucks defender Ethan Bear has chosen his next destination, all but confirming his departure from Vancouver.
Bear, 26, will reportedly sign a two-year contract at an average annual value of around $2 million, according to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston. That price tag proved to be too high for the Canucks after acquiring veteran defenseman Nikita Zadorov.
Bear has been recovering from off-season shoulder surgery and will likely make his long-awaited return to an NHL lineup in the near future.
