LATEST | NHL issues a statement regarding a former Canucks forward
Tyler Toffoli has been quite the journeyman since winning the L.A. Kings cup a few years ago. He went from the Kings to the Canucks, to the Canadiens, to the Flames and now to the Hughes' powerhouse in New Jersey.
Toffoli has been lighting it up for the last two seasons. The scoring winger registered career highs in goals, assists and points with the Flames, registering an impressive 34, 39 totalling 73.
Last night, Toffoli scored his sixth career hat trick including the OT winner, the NHL released the following statement:
Tyler Toffoli recorded his sixth career hat trick and first that ended with an overtime winner to help the @NJDevils earn their 16th comeback win of 2023-24 � the most among all teams.
Toffoli now has 20 goals and 33 points in 45 games in New Jersey. The Canucks had acquired him as a deadline deal for two prospects and a second round pick. In 17 games with the Nucks, Toffoli collected 14 points.
