LATEST | New contradicting development on Bear's injury
The Canucks have been dealing without one of their top defensemen for a while now and the latest reports give contradicting information on his undisclosed injury.
Ethan Bear skated with the team for the first time in a while on Saturday, prior to the game against the Sens. At that point, Bear had been skating with a normal jersey and half visor. Though today, per Brendan Batchelor's report, Bear was back on the ice but with a non-contact jersey and full-face shield.
This seems to be quite contradictory and with the Canucks' recent medical issues, it's hard not to raise any questions on the subject. Bear has not played since February 25th and he is still looking for a contract at the end of the upcoming season.
Tocchet opened up on Bear in the media availability and stated that he was only a practice away from getting back to full action.
