The NHL is currently in Florida this weekend for the 2023 NHL all-star weekend before the players continue their journeys to hopefully reach the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The NHL has come under criticism on how the playoffs are seeded, with 4 teams from each division making up the playoff tree. However, Pittsburgh Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby has recently given his opinion on what he'd change in the playoffs.
Crosby said he'd change the playoff format. Crosby wants the League to go with a 1-8 playoff format, Crosby says it rewards the regular season better.
I'd agree with Crosby as we've seen some teams in other divisions miss the playoffs with a much better record than teams that make it in just because of the format style.
