MAJOR | Insider makes an extremely bold statement on the Canucks' current state of mind
We've been witnessing one of the best start to a Canucks season in a very, very long time. The team is now playing up to what everybody expected from there and many thanks are due to Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin who have turned the boat around drastically.
Minor changes to the team's players, small key additions, but coaching staff changes, structural and strategies changes have been the keys to the team's most recent success.
There's been lots of speculation regarding the many different targets the Canucks could be looking to add, but the most important speculation has been regarding their intentions. Elliotte Friedman made an extremely bold statement revealing on the 32 Thoughts Podcasts that the Canucks thought they could go all the way:
''Vancouver thinks they can win (it all)''
It'll extremely intriguing to see how Allvin and Rutherford okay their card if they do believe they have the line up to go all the way. They've always stated that they weren't keen on the idea of trading their first round pick and their top prospects (ie: Tom Willander, Jonathan Lekkerimaki), but if you intend on going all the way and being all-in, shouldn't they be laying every card on the table?
