MUST SEE | Martin Necas gets violently sent to the Islanders' bench and then tries to fight the whole bench
The Hurricanes had a 2-0 lead over the Islanders in this series before showing up in Long Island tonight. As expected, it gave lieu to a spirited tilt involving tons of emotions.
The Islanders ended up collecting a 5-1 win, but a particular retained attention. Martin Necas, one of the Canes' stars forward, got hit hard by Jean-Gabriel Pageau sending him onto the Islanders' bench. The Canes' forward was clearly pissed off and proceeded to hit one of the Islanders' forward on the bench. No penalty call were made on the play:
The Islanders were clearly pissed off about Necas' actions, but yet no player intervened and Necas ended up getting away with it.
