*MUST SEE* - Pettersson gets his revenge
Yesterday's tilt was absolutely crazy, ending with an OT win when Elias Pettersson scored just 13 seconds in.
Funny story about what happened last night, if we go back 4 years ago, while Pettersson was a young to this league he had an encounter with the Canadiens' defenseman Mike Matheson, back in his days with the Panthers.
As you can see in the video, there was nothing joly about that previous meeting. The way things turned out was quite amusing, since Pettersson closed the game recovering the puck from Matheson who had slipped. Here's the sequence:
Iain MacIntyre asked Pettersson about that particular event and you can only assume that he was happy with how things turned out.
Elias Pettersson has been the Canucks' best forward so far this season, last night was no exception since he had the OT winner and 2 apples. He's now up to 32 points in 26 games on his way to break his career best.
