The man advantage was really important in Saturday's win against Vegas. Before taking the ice, the Canucks stood 5th in power play effiency in the NHL.

The second power play unit opened the game's scoring with a deflect from Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller added later in the first period with the first five-man-unit.

Elias Pettersson scored off a one-timer that brought the Canucks PP to a third goal. They ended the game going 3 for 5.

The penalty kill also performed well with Martin as they killed all 6 minutes they spent with the four-man-unit. It was an all-around great team performance as they've shown that they can stand their own against the league's top performing teams.
