REPORT | Canucks are eyeing a pending Kraken free agent
The Canucks are expected to be active once again. It's been pointed out that they'd be looking to add size and grit, it appears they have set their eyes on a defenseman from a divisional rival who provides just that.
Rick Dhaliwal reported that one player they really liked, was the Kraken's 6'05'' defenseman Carson Soucy.
A member of the Kraken ever since they entered the league, Soucy who was originally selected by the Wild in the 5th round of the 2013 Draft, has taken part in 250 regular season games and collected 68 points during that time.
Soucy had been earning $2.75M/season up until now and it's expected that he'll be hitting free agency. He'll be turning 29 next month, is he someone the Canucks should aim? Could he be a depth option for the Canucks' left side?
