Riley Stillman's presence in the lineup while Kyle Burroughs sits in the stands has everyone doubting Canucks' decision making.

Every analyst is categoric, the fans aren't happy about it, but Stillman's presence in the lineup is cause for debate. In a recent "Donnie and Dhalie podcast" episode, sports reporter from The Province, Patrick Johnston, was on air to talk about the matter:

"I can't quite figure that one out... he played a lot of roles in Chicago feeling the chance he was given here, but he hasn't done enough. It was expected of him to play a shut down role like Myers has been asked to do, but he hasn't been able to handle the pressure."

The reporter stated that he simply couldn't understand why a guy like Burroughs would sit in the stands, especially the way he's played as of late. He even goes further in his comment about the Canucks no. 61.

"He handles the puck well, I guess, but there's simply been too many turnovers... he played in Chicago in a not so good team and was one of their worst defenders."

It certainly looks like the Canucks scouting may have dropped the ball on this one, since it's been arguably the worst acquisition in the Allvin era, but the way the team has managed Stillman's ice-time seems to be even worse.

Travis Dermott's return is approaching, it'll be an upgrade from Riley Stillman for sure, but will it be enough?

Here's the last sequence where Stillman looked like a cone, costing a goal:
