The NHLPA Set To Announce Their New Director

The NHLPA looks to have found their replacement as Director of NHLPA and it's US Secretary of Labor, Marty Walsh, revealed this afternoon by the Daily Faceoff's Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli.
According to multiple reports. Here's what you need to know: Walsh will replace Don Fehr, who has held the position since 2010. Walsh, 55, previously served as mayor of Boston from 2014 to 2021.
Walsh was currently the Secretary of Labor under United States President Joe Biden. Walsh was unable to leave his Government position until attending the President Biden's joint session speech with Congress. The 55-year-old was presented as the NHL's top candidate during the meeting that took place at the NHL All-Star weekend.
Frank Seravalli would also share Walsh will earn $3 million dollars annually and will remain able to live in Boston with no requirements to move to Toronto where the NHLPA headquarters are located
